2) BECOME AN ACTIVE LEARNER- Unlike high school, in college, you can’t learn all of the material just reading over it a couple of times. You need to write and recite the information to get it into long-term memory.

2 ) Calculate what would have happened if Amelia had earned a B in Chemistry.
3.00 x 4 = 12.00
GPA = 52.00 ÷ 17 = 3.06
TOTAL POINT =
46.68 - 6.68 + 12.00 =
52#
3 ) What is the difference in GPA?
3.06 - 2.75 =
0.31#
ACTIVITY 2
4 ) Now calculate Amelia GPA for the next semester
5 ) What would happen if Amelia had received a D in Cell Bio instead of the B+?
CELL BIO = 4 x 1.00 = 4.00
TOTAL POINT EARNED =
50.33 - 13.32 + 4.00 = 41.01
GPA = 41.01 ÷ 18 =
2.38#
6 ) What is the difference in GPA?
